I have a standalone DivX-capable DVD player that plays .avi files perfectly, and will display .srt subtitle files but not .sub.
A lot of files come with .idx/.sub subtitles and I was wondering if there's anything out there that will convert them.
I've searched around, and I've found 2 things, neither one of which works.
SubCleaner (v1.0b7) which is supposed to handle .sub files but in reality doesn't do anything. When I drop a .sub file on it, all that happens is an "X" appears underneath the "Drop Subs Here" box, but nothing gets converted.
sub2srt just doesn't do anything.
Any other suggestions?
