Hi,

I have a need for converting text tables in the following format:

-> 22 0 23 22 20 25 | 24 21 18 20 0 23
1> 1 0 2 1 1 0 | 0 1 5 3 0 1
2> 0 4 0 2 0 0 | 1 2 2 1 0 0
3> 2 0 3 0 1 0 | 0 0 0 0 0 0

to MS Word format. Currently the best I can do is change the spaces to comas and then convert to table. As you can see the number of spaces changes and space removal has to be done manually.

What I need to find is if there is a way to change replace "any number of continuous spaces TO comma". However, I can't find a way to achieve this in the find/replace menu of Word.

Any alternate way I could do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

...
  1. Select the text.
  2. Choose the Table>Convert>Convert Text to Table... menu item.
  3. There is no Step 3.
