Converting unix formatting on Pages?

I have a rtf document full of such codes:

Is there a way to properly open it so the the formatting works in Pages?

No, not easily--if at all. Pages isn't going to translate that markup (troff, perhaps?).

As a quick workaround, you could grab that document from another source:

http://www.luxautumnalis.de/john-searle-refutation-relativism-englisch-und-deutsch/

In your browser, select all and copy, then paste into a blank Pages document.

Thanks for the info, and the link.

It's a lot more readable, but I'm sure the original has more specific formatting for some of the logical expressions. Anyway, it's a big step forward!
