ok, what i want to do is use some old animated dvds and convert them for my phone to keep my very young daughter amused on an up and coming road trip, i use handbrake to rip films to my hard drive, now can i use handbrake to convert/compress them for the phone or is there any other app i can use? what do i need to do? as you can appreciate i'm a photographer, so all this video conversion/compression stuff is all new to me

yeah I'm a image kinda person too, but what I can tell you is that (u might know this already) Phones use 3gp which can be viewed on Quicktime, I'm not 100% sure if Quicktime Pro can compress/convert for phone use.
There might be an app that can do that but I have not seen anything yet....

Anyone!?

:apple:

I've done this before using Quicktime PRO. There is an option to save as 3G (3GPP) in the export menu. I have to say that the result is pretty poor.
