I have tried many converters to convert videos to mp4 format. But the problem is that most of the time, it does not work. When I drag videos from my files to iTunes Video, they don't show up.

What is a good converter program that convert videos and works 100% ??

Thank You

p.s. Does iPodMe work everytime you use it?

Handbrake will do this for you. Works perfectly for most movies, and if you have issues there is generally someone else who has already solved your problem on their forums!

No, it means you are getting something wrong with the format you are converting to. Bitrate, FPS, etc...
You've got something wrong. The devil is in the details.

How about actually responding to one of your other threads, instead of just ignoring everyone actually trying to help.

Use Handbrake, iPod Touch preset. It will work.

I mean then.. What do people use to convert their videos?? Isn't there a really perfect converter??

I am sorry. I am new obviously, I thought no one will re-click my post thread to answer another question that I will post.

and like I said, I have tried Handbrake and it does not work. Used itouch as preset but the final resulting file is not even in mp4 format or m4v or whatever it was suggesting..

What format is it in? Handbrake only outputs mp4/m4v (same thing) files.

It was not even in any format. I looked into Properties and it only said file. The icon did not look like any other formats either. I have tried twice and neither came out to mp4/m4v.

Then you have screwed something up. Try adding .mp4 to the end of the file.

!! you are right. I thought I just need to put whatever title I want and Handbrake is automatically going to put the .mp4 at the end.

But I tried to drag the video to iTunes and it still does not accept it.

What preset did you use?

iTunes will take any video file into the library, but only files that meet the pixel dimension/bitrate/file type will sync to an iPod.

You might just re-rip the movies using the iPod Touch/iPhone preset.

Thanks so much for your help^^
