Converting Wav from 24 - 16 bit in Compressor

So, I have 167 audio files that I would like to batch convert into 16 bit 44.1khz, that are currently 24 bit 44.1khz. It seems that compressor for mac is not able to convert to wav file format. Is there any other solution for this that would make this an automated process? Or do I just have to do it one by one in something like logic?
