converting WMV files

New Mac guy- I am getting emails from friends that have .WMV files. How can I convert these to view them?

u can watch the wmv video with vlc player

u can convertSOME wmv videos with iSquint

I didn't know about media convert. Anyway, flip4mac seems to be the "official" way to play Windows Media files on the Mac. It's always worked for me and is convenient because you don't have to convert files.

Download and install Flip4Mac. It can handle any WMV9 or older Windows Media non-DRMed file.
