Convince me to Jailbreak my iPhone 4s.

If you have to ask then don't do it. I have the Black Tie Protection Plan on my phone and I jb if I have a problem I would just restore. And It's not a warranty it's a serves plan just saying.
Just promise us when you screw it up you won't come back here whining about Apple and how they are somehow to blame
To be honest, your going to have to try it and see for yourself. Take your time and read everything and go from there. I use google and search and look for the answers I need. I'm not a pro, but I follow directions very well. Not sure of the risk you speak of, but I've had some fun playing with mine. Most things are pretty easy, just try it. If you don't like restore back to normal and then you can go from there. Again, read everything careful and follow directions, you should be good. Have fun..
I would say please don't because in a month or two your going to be right back here asking how to get your phone out of recovery mode!! So just leave it stock until you do some research first.
Risks? If you don't know anything you could mess up your phone.
Benefits? You get access to MANY things you can't have if your unjailbroken.
But to put it into another perspective...
If you know what your doing there aren't any risks and if you don't need any of features from the jailbreak there are no benefits.
Really? I find the iPhone much more slippery when jailbroken and easily pops out of pockets and hands because of it. Even with a tighter grip.

Well, it's hard to tell someone a bunch of features and tweaks they can use after jailbreaking because some things may not even interest you. There's quite a lot you can do with jailbreaking.
I'm sure there's some things you haven't even thought about, but in general, is there anything in the iOS experience that you find missing? Lackluster? Something that iOS could use maybe? There may be a tweak for that.

It's not this bad on the entire site, but some of the subforums are full of hickdeads like HickDead.
You have already received answers, i.e., there are no risks and YOU are the only person who can determine the benefits. Asking what the benefits of jailbreaking are, is like asking what the benefits of installing an app on your phone are. jailbreaking allows you to install apps on your phone that are not available in the Apple App Store.
There are no benefits if all you do is jailbreak. it's the apps that provide the benefits.
