hi,
Are there such a thing as Cookies in the Mac world?? If so, where are they located??

Safari prefs allow you to specify how to handle cookies, but won't let you view them (see screen shot below). You can only clear Safari's cookies by resetting Safari (Safari > Reset Safari...) or by deleting the cookies.plist file from the Cookies folder in your user Library.

IE Prefs allow you to specify how to handle them and allow you to look at (and delete) individual cookies.

Not true. If you look in your screenshot, you can see the "show cookies" button. You can view and delete them from there. I prefer to use SafariCookie Cutter to delete cookies.
