Cool as smart cover but w/o screen smudges?

From a search of this forum, it appears some degree of smudging of the screen is inevitable with the smart cover. So, is there a case as cool and low profile as the smart cover, but which doesn't smudge the screen?

Not sure why "smudging" is inevitable. I have used my Smart Cover for almost 4 months now and have never had smudges on my screen.
