I don’t know if this is the right place to post this.
Take a look on this desk (milk), cool design.

MILK

You mean the box with the text “think inside the box”?
Yes it is, you can click on them to get more info.

Woah. That seems great. I never though I'd want fish in my desk though? :D

I'm trying to find the cost. You have to contact someone to even get information on it.

Rubbish design.

The stand for the table totally obstructs where you'd put your feet. You have to stretch your feet out wide, and you can't cross them over for comfort.

I'm sure folk who own that desk bash their feet off that stand all the time.

Not too fussed by the over all design either.

I like the cable routing and the boxes.

I'm not a fan of the center leg, or color. Wood grain is my thing.

I know you aren't asking but here is the desk I have - interesting, flexible, expandable, and cheap

I'd don't know that I'd go so far as to call it "rubbish", but I completely agree about the center stand. Talk about an ergonomic flop. Do you really need a height-adjustable computer desk? I can understand a work desk, but....

yuck

Not enough storage, plus it might not be easy to remove things from those side storage holders. If you stick your fish tank and the garbage box they offer in those slots the desk lacking anything on the other side is going to look visually off balanced imho. I appreciate the ability to raise and lower the desk, but that support column is an ergonomic nightmare. The fishtank is cute and all but it just seems more like a gimmick. One side slot for your papers, whoopee!

Sometimes minimilast design offers just that, the minimum.:)

Well - it was designed with the Apples in mind, and no Apple product is complete without a fatal flaw that devotees will gloss over ;) :p

I'll stick to the Ahrend desks for the lab.

I still love the design, but it can be done very easily by someone crafty enough.

I think it is a wonderfully minimalist design, but you'd have to keep extra filing cabinets or storage nearby to have any hope of keeping its surface empty.

Before I get all excited can you give me a general price range for those Ahrend desks? They're exactly what I've been looking for.

Depends on what you're looking for. They aren't cheap, if that's what you're asking. Contact Ahrend USA (Contacts page of ahrend.com website) for resellers.

I e-mailed the people at MILK. I was interested in buying one, but they started at $3100. So, basically theyll be around $4000 because all of the "extras". But still an amazing desk.
