Now I'm the type of person that has to play around with things so last night I decided to purchase CoolBook.
Here are the default settings for the lower in 13 inch MBP when you start up CoolBook:
After playing around for a few hours and testing what voltages work this is what I ended up with (So far I've only done the high speed 2.26Ghz and the slowest 1.5Ghz). With 1.5Ghz I actually hit the lowest voltage in CoolBook and couldn't go any lower and everything still works fine.
I haven't done any serious testing and not sure if I really will. But with some light "testing" it seems that at 2.26Ghz at full load my CPU runs over 10c cooler. For only $10 though it seems that CoolBook is worth it if you're willing to play around for a few hours to lower the temperature of your MacBook.
