I had a Macbook AIR 11 (2011), i5 1.6GHz, Intel hd graphics 3000, 64ssd 2gb ram.

Now I have got 2012 edition. Difference is on CPU: i5 1.7GHz and graphic card- Intel HD 4000.

After some time using it I found out that another difference is that cooler is much louder. Is still on. Even when I only using safari no other apps.

Is there could be some settings- how to save more power, to save cooler?

many thanks

By cooler I think you mean the fan ? If am right you have to remember the 11 inch only has 5 hours battery advertise which should translate to 3 or maybe 4 hours at most in real use.
