Hi everyone,

I've settled on the 13" MBP with a 256GB SSD upgrade, but I'd like to know much cooler and lighter it will be against the normal MBP. I'd also like to know how much longer the battery cycle will last, because I've heard the SSD drives drain less battery.

Thanks,
Alex

I have a 2012 13" MBP with a 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD and I do not notice any difference in weight, temp, or battery life.

So you're not talking about a retina MBP, just a regular MBP with a SSD instead of a HDD?
