I was waiting at the Apple store for a pickup the other day and was going through all their iPhone 5s's to see if they had a screen was "warm" in color as my own. What I noticed was in mostly all of the white models, the colors appeared noticeably cooler. Some not by much, some very apparent. While in most of the Space Grey models, they were typically warmer.
I pulled up sites with images and google.com(white background, colored logo) at full brightness and, in this case at least, it was pretty consistent. I was wondering if anyone has noticed the same. I believe the screens used are from multiple different manufacturers and are probably completely random, but if you think about...it would make sense if the screens picked to be used for the white/silver model were cooler, since it goes better with the white frame of the phone. Otherwise you'd have a mostly "yellow" screen with a crispy white framed phone.
