I recently switched from one iMac to a newer one and I copied the entire iTunes folder from the older iMac to the new one. Everything opens up nicely from my Library, though iTunes on the new iMac no longer recognizes my iPhone or iPad. I use to synch wirelessly with both devices and they no longer show up in iTunes. How do I now get iTunes on the new iMac to show the icons for my iPhone and iPad so I can synch again?

Thanks.

You need to set your new iMac as Trusted So your iPhone or iPad knows the computer is safe. Anytime you sync to a new or different computer it needs to set it as the Trusted computer to that device.

Plugging the device into that new imac and launching iTunes should initiate the prompt to Trust that iMac to that device.
