Copy and paste has multiple / additive clipboard... how to stop it

Hi, not sure if this a built in OSX feature (running 10.7 - Lion) or something to do with installed software (maybe Launchbar?) but my copy-and-paste has an additive nature... it'll merge together things rather than overwrite. How do I turn this off and go back to regular copy-and-paste? Thanks
