The problem with the native copy and paste on apple's iOS is the fact that for certain apps/websites, you cannot highlight the word(s) that you would like to paste somewhere else.

For example, on the mobile version for facebook.com (it turns into touch.facebook.com or whatever) I cannot highlight text in order to copy and paste. Like you know when someone posts a cute little status and it states, "if you agree, copy and paste this for use as your own status" or something to that extent. Well I can't copy and paste that because it won't let me.

Another problem is that the native method is slightly slow in having the "select, select all, copy/paste" dialogue popup. I have to hold my finger on the spot for a good couple of seconds for the magnifying glass to show up, then release my finger, and another second or two for the dialogue to pop up.

I have not done any formal exploration of a "good" copy and paste program from cydia. I know there is one called "clippy" but I've never used it nor have I seen it in action. I also know that clippy has been around forever, before apple released native copy/paste. So, the 2 requirements are being able to highlight text that the native copy/paste doesn't support, and being a little faster than the native copy/paste function. The most important aspect is needing to highlight text that the native function doesn't do. Thanks.

UPDATE: In the "tweaks" category in cydia, I found an app called "Fast Copy" which gets rid of the 'delay' from the moment your finger touches the text to the time it takes for the 'select/select all/copy/paste' pop up to appear.

But if anyone knows of a copy/paste app that will enable me to copy text that the native copy/paste cannot highlight. Thanks.
