ok this is a tough one. i have some tv episodes on dvd. the dvd has got some scratches. if i watch the episodes directly from the dvd it sometimes hangs but i can hear that quicktime player reattempts to read the disc until it works again. problem is when i want to copy the files from dvd to hd, because the finder only tries once to read the file. if there is a problem it stops. so is there a copy program with several read attempts?
