Finally I get to go to the US for work and needless to say one of the first things on my to do list is go to the nearest Apple Store and buy a replacement for my aging Ipod 5G
. Had a small debate to myself whether to get an Ipod Touch or an iPhone (budget will allow only 8GB compared to 16GB for the Touch), but I finally decided for the iPhone. While in the US (the whole week) I will like obviously to use the new toy - first as an iPod. Unlocking will wait until I come back home and have some free time.... And here comes my problem. I'll be there with my work laptop (an aging HP...) on which I have no rights what so ever so can't install any SW so I can't load my Itunes library. So I'm looking at alternatives and would love to get some advices which of those can work:
1. Use an app like Ipod2phone - as I can't install it on the laptop, can I install it on a USB token and run it from there????
2. Copy MP3s to any media (USB token, Disc) and import, but I guess I need iTunes....
Any advice will be appreciated!!!!
