Hello, I just received a new 960 GB M500 SSD Drive. I need to replace a 1 TB HD in my Mac Book Pro (Early 2011) that has an OS X partition + a Boot Camp Partition. I would like not to reinstall all my software.

Is there a tool that can help me migrate both partitions to the new hard drive? Please consider that the new HD is a bit smaller than the old one.

Thank you

Alessandro

Winclone for the osx partition and CCC for the OSX partition. I have done this many times. You will have a little work to get windows working again, but walk through the win clone instructions for that. I have tried several other options but none of worked.

Winclone \= NTFS drivers!

Winclone & CCC are a great set of tools migrating a HDD to SSD. Please be aware of any 3rd party NTFS drivers for Mac when using Winclone.

GL with your migration!

Cheers
