When I press and hold to copy/move files from one folder to another, the trackpad thinks I'm double-clicking via long press and selects the file. I can get the files to copy if I'm really quick about pressing and moving, but sometimes I'm just not fast enough and have to start over. Is there an easier way to do this?

Up the click pressure in System Preferences to firm.

The length of time you press has nothing to do with force click.

Ah, thanks. I only press for copy/move, so I hadn't realized it was so sensitive.
