I'm working on a Mid-2010 MacBook Pro running 10.10.5.
Recently I've found that my status window when copying files no longer pops up. I can only see the small status bar next to the folder in the Finder.
Is there a way to reactivate the full copy status window so I can view time left on large transfers?
Thanks.
-EDIT-
I think I may have solved the issue. I restarted my computer in safe mode (as suggested my Apple Support to see if the issue was OSX or a User issue [I also created a testadmin account I was going to use]).
In safe mode I was able to see the status window pop up again. Then when I went back to my original user (before testing the testadmin) I tried a transfer and could see the window again.
Not sure what changed but I guess the restart in safe mode fixed whatever the problem was.
