Copy photo cd? PLease Help?!

I copied one cd sucessfully for a website I am building. (I need these photos from my portfolio). I don't want to send the original but I cannot get my g5 imac to copy the other one of them.

It's a cd-r from the photographer and when I put it in and it appears on the desktop but when I try to copy and burn a new image of it, it doesn't work.

How can I copy it? I really don't want to put my only copy of my portfolio in the mail.

Can't you just drag and drop the pictures in the cd folder?

Is the message I get.

And I can't drop the pics onto the cd because the blank cd doesn't appear on my desktop.

As I said, the previous cd could be copied. I don't know why this one cant.
Any ideas:?

Took it to Kinkos

They had no trouble copying it for $6 bucks, oh well, thanks anyway.
