iPod touch Copy pics from Itouch to computer

If the answer here, I can't find it.
I deleted, my mistake some pictures from my computer. They are on my Itouch 2G.
What would recommend to copy the pictures from the Itouch back to my PC.
I found some "free" software that saz it will do the job.
Any recommendations of other advice.
