Hey all

Need help in copying pics from ipad to pc.

I copied some pics from my friends camera in a folder (say X) different from the default DCIM folder on ipad, now the issue is when i connect my ipad to PC only DCIM folder (default folder for storing pics taken via ipad) is visible nothing else, I can't see the 'X' folder. I did the sync but it only synced the pics in the DCIM folder only nothing else.

Can someone guide me as to how i can copy that "X" folder from my ipad to PC?

I hope i am clear with my problem.

Thanks

Where is the X folder located? You can't create additional folders and use the iPad like a removable drive. To get the pictures to your iPad, you need to import it manually (using the camera connection kit, have your friend email them to you, etc.). Only then will it show up in your DCIM folder.

I will need to confirm that, will do and report back.

Not a apple user just got the ipad for my kid and for staying in touch with friends and family abroad via facetime as all of them use apple.
