I have a dvd that is copyrighted and very scratched. And I wanted to make a backup copy of it. When I tried to use MacTheRipper, it stucked at a point wher there were bad sectors, and the disk could not be read. So, I copied the entire vide_ts into my HDD.

Now, how can I write that copy-protected video_ts folder from my HDD to a DVD? MacTheRipper won't work with plain folders.

Note that I own that DVD and the copy will be made for personnal use only.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you can. Part of the keys required for unscrambling the data are in a prt of the disc that can't be read directly...

If I was in your position, I'd try polishing the scratches out (always from centre to edge) from the DVD with Brasso or something similar and then using MacTheRipper to get a clean copy.

This has worked perfectly for me on a number of previous occasions.
