Hi,

I want to copy all the tracks of one genre in iTunes to another folder on the same disk. There's around 80gb worth from hundreds of different artists.
I can't see any way to actually copy the tracks from iTunes itself, and the music files on disk are sorted by album/artist, so how can I do it?

Thanks.

You could install the 'Copy Files To Folder' script from this page. Place the script in Home/Library/iTunes/Scripts (or just drag it to the Installer application). Then select all the files in iTunes that you want to export, click the Applescripts menu (it looks like a picture of a scroll) and the script name.

It'll ask for a destination folder and copy them over. :)

Thanks, that looks like what I am after, I'll try it when I get home. Can it also copy the files (i.e. create duplicate copy), instead of moving them?
