Copy SMS from phone?

I just wondered if there was a cute little app that I haven't found that will enable me to copy SMS from my phone. I need to clear the phone memory but really don't want to lose the messages. I've searched but can't find what I want.

Bluephoneelite will allow you to read and send sms from the client using your BT enabled phone. It also keeps track of calls missed and stuff. I downloaded the demo but just couldnt find a long term use out of it. I guess i just dont text enough =)
