Copy Text from Numbers Cells

I was trying to copy some text from numbers cells to pages but the content of the cells will not go to the clipboard right. When I try to paste into pages I just hear a noise and nothing is actually pasted.

I also tried creating a new pdf by command+N when opening preview, still didn't work.

I just want to copy two rows, and have them pasted into a pages document to edit.
