copying a dvd

hi, i have a quick question.

what is the best way to tell if my dvd copied correctly?
like when i rip a movie and go to watch it some of the time it will freeze and skip.
what can i do to avoid that?

What did you use to copy the DVD? Maybe you should use HandBrake.
