Copying "complex" accounts for multiple uses base set-up

I read some of the other threads on multiple accounts but have not come across this question.

My wife and I have been sharing our iMac and MacBook computer, so with kids we have just 2 accounts, the "master" and the "kids". Now, we'd like to each have our own account. Since we've been sharing and have many "tweaks", prefs/favorites, is there an easy way to 100% duplicate the "master" with new name of course. Then, we'd be able to have our unique settings w/o having to recreate everything from scratch.

If something simple/obvious to do it, I've not seen it.

So my [Home Directory]/Library is 629MB in size for 9,506 items, while the just created account (called "Mom") is just 8MB for 131 items. really, it's all the items in the Safari browser mostly, so I'll see where the big size items are and selectively delete those.
