well I lniw that it is possible to do tjis on a nirmal phone. Because everything is backed up onto the computer, and if you want them on a new phone it should be east enough to have it sync up through either a USB or bluetooth.

So its more feasible to transfer the SIM cards contacts to your computer's addressbook via cable/bluetooth. The from there, transfer it to the iphone.

I will give that a try tonight.
