Hey,

I'm copying data from a damaged Hard drive

But each time Finder tries to copy a damaged file, the copying process is stopped and I have to start over again starting from the file next to the damaged one.

Not so handy If one tries to copy over thousands of files..
Is there a way to tell the Finder to copy over the files; and just skip (but don`t tell me) the damaged ones and continue copying?

There is no way for os x to figure if a file is damaged or not. Therefore os x tries to copy the file and stalls. There is no real way around that.

You may have to try and use something like Data Rescue II to retrieve your files. I've never use it but a friend swears by it.
