HI!
I have a Mac Mini (MM), and it has a USB hard disk connected to it. I mount both the hard disk and the Mac Mini's own HD as shares on my MacBook Air (the USB drive contains movies, the HD contains more recent stuff).
I often want to transfer files between the MacMini HD and the USB drive connected to the MM. I usually do this by screen sharing into the MM and using Finder as normal, but I'd prefer to simply drag the files between the two shares on my MBA. Question is, would doing this copy the file to the MBA first and then to the other share, or would it copy the files directly from the MM HD to the USB HD?
Thanks
