Copying files from one external hard drive to another

Hello,I searched around the forum but could not get any concrete answer,I want to transfer my 100GB worth of movies from one external to another (secondary backup).

Can I just connect both of them to my Air and do a copy past or will this result in data loss or problems and I should first copy the movies to my SSD and then again transfer them to the second external ? Sounds tedious as I have only 128gb SSD.

Any help will be appreciated,thank you.

Yes, you can connect them both and drag and drop directly from one to the other. There is no need to copy them to your internal drive at all.
