So this is interesting. Forgive me if this has already been covered but I've yet to find any threads on it.
Over the last few days I've been having some weird problems with files. I download them in Snow Leopard, and then copy them over when I'm booted up in Windows 7. However, the files (.exe files, images, etc.) all fail to load/work properly. I thought something had gone wrong while downloading (all legal files), so I tried again, and it failed once again.
For example, a I tried downloading a 1.2 GB patch (.zip file) for Call of Duty in Windows 7. I get much better d/l speeds in OS X for whatever reason, so I booted up into it and downloaded the file, which suddenly became 1.0 GB. I download it anyway, and the unzipping fails. Then I realized; I wonder if these files are somehow failing because Snow Leopard uses base 10 while Windows uses base 2, and corruption is happening somewhere along the line.
Has anyone else had or noticed any weird problems like this? I never had any with Leopard and Windows 7 (or Vista for that matter).
