Copying Files to SD Card

I have some SD cards that I store files on.

I used to be able under Snow Leopard to drag and drop files from my HD
to the SD cards now since Lion I cannot copy files to these cards.

Do not know what happened there rebooted back into Lion and all OK

I am having the same problem... when I try to copy files from the SD card to any hard drive, it shows the status bar as it copies but when its finished nothing shows up... WTH?
