Hello guys I have had a problem for a while now in el Capitan. If I move more than xxx amount of files to an external HD It starts to copy but says Zero Bytes of 2.5 gigs and never copies, I usually have to Quit the finder and erase the greyed out amount of images from where ever I tried to copy them to.
Does anybody know why this happens. it is pretty random and usually when I try to copy more than a 100 or so pictures to an external HD. If I just try to move the whole folder no problem.
Basically I move a lot of images off my CF card to folders and or external hard drives as copies and many times it just copies the amount grey out and says Zero of xxx bytes copying estimated time... And never copies. Stopping the copy also never works and I usually have to just quit finder. This happens no matter how the external HD is formatted but most every HD I use is formatted Mac Journaled.
I would appreciate and help if anybody knows how I can fix this..
Eric
