I've recently completed my first project on iDVD and am now trying to make a disk copy of the DVD using the disk copy facility in Toast 6 Platinum.

Upon trying, I'm met with: "name of project" could not be unmounted. All open files and programs on this volume must be closed first.

I've quit every application and tried again, but no luck. I've even tried ripping it with MacTheRipper, but to no avail.

The simple way out is to use iDVD to rip multiple copies, but each DVD takes 2 hours+ due to the audio and complicated menu's of the disk.

Is there any way round this?

Dunno what's stopping you, but it shouldn't be this hard. Close all your apps, including Toast before you try to make a copy...

In the future if you think you'll need to burn multiple copies, save your iDVD project as an disk image (ISO) instead and use Toast and/or Disk Utility to burn as many copies as you want.
