hello. On various apps I keep using the "copy" option for images to paste in another apps. The problem is that it sometiems it works, sometiems it does not work and I do not know why. Its frustrating. Does any one know why this happens?

can you give a more detailed example? or is it that there are sometimes problems, but after a few tries it ultimatively works? The screen shot suggest you might referring to a particular app, because it shows »Save image« above »Copy«.

Hello. Thanks for the reply.
The app above is Mega.io cloud storage. I can not even reproduce it. It kind of happens with different apps at random. I wonder if others face similar problems or is it just me.

I rarely use »copy« and usually use drag&drop in Splitview on iPadOS or »Save to Photos« on my iPhone - so someone else has to chime in 🙃 … for the few casinos I use(d) it, I do not remember to have problems with »Copy«

oh well, thanks for your help! I appreciate your input!

There are two important factors to know, both can be developer specified (i.e., they are app dependent).

• Data copied to the clipboard/pasteboard can have an expiration. For example, a password manager may delete the pasteboard contents after 30-seconds.
• An app may prevent you from copying or pasting entirely, or have a partial restriction.

not in my case.

The app i use like Mega cloud storage sometimes copies the images over some times it does not. So I know:

1-Its not about expiration date

2-there is no restriction because I was successful at copying and pasting sometimes . This also happens with browsers when I need an image, sometimes i get a copy sometimes i get blank.
