Copying iTunes from external hard drive

Hi

I backed up all my files using another mac and disk utility because my macbook would not start correctly.

I've done a wipe of the mac and started fresh.

I saved everything on the hard drive before wiping it. Is it possible to re load playlists, song ratings, number of times played etc? All music is there but I've lost all the data on the music.

I think they are in the file "iTunes Library.itl" in the iTunes Library folder
