So I tried following the directions listed above and it failed. I believe I copied everything over where it belonged as followed above. I bought a song from iTunes and downloaded it, copied my entire iTunes directory to there as well.

The problem I think is with my Library.xml I think. I tried copying it from my desktop, but I am not sure if I was doing it in the right place. I put it over my iTunes icon on my Doc, but nothing happens. I copied it to my iTunes folder, but still no luck.

Any clue on what I could be doing wrong?

Easiest way to copy iTunes from PC to Mac:

Open iTunes on Windows. Go to file, consolidate library. If it's not under file, you have an older version and it's under advanced. When that is complete, copy the iTunes folder located in My Music to external HDD or flash drive, or if network drag to Mac.

On the Mac, replace the iTunes folder found in home folder/music with the iTunes folder from the PC.

Open iTunes.

Ta da.
