I have a large folder containing many subfolders within subfolders. I'd like to back them up to an external drive which already contains most of the same folders but I only want to update the new folders/files to save time.
Is there an easy way to do this?
So far I've tried dragging the folders in using the standard Mac copy process, which seems to offer me the option to skip currently existing files/folders, but it doesn't look inside those subfolders to check whether or not there's anything new in them that needs to be copied.
I've also tried Carbon Copy Cloner, which includes the ability to delete files that don't exist on the destination, but doesn't seem to be able to skip the copying of files that already exist.
Any ideas?
