Copying Mail to new Mac

Hey all,

Well I'm currently awaiting shipment of my shiny new iMac and it occurred to me that I have no idea how to get all my mail from my current mac mini to the new one. Is there some export function in Mail that I'm missing?

You just need to copy the com.apple.mail.plist file from your Home>Library>Preferences folder to the same location on your new machine, and also copy the Mail folder from Home>Library>Application Support to the same place on your new machine.

Thats all there is to it, although they should have an export function...

I just drag stuff over.

There are three things i drag over:

Home>Library>Mail
Home>Library>Mail Downloads
and
Home>Library>Preferences>com.apple.mail.plist

If you drag those three things over you should be good to go with mail.
