I've just bought my first mac and I'm really enjoying the experience so far!
Anyway, a couple of quick questions.
I have a windows based server on my network.
Normally, I'll download a file directly to it then cut/paste that file to another location on the same drive. Normally, this would be instantaneous, however when doing this from my MBP it takes a while, almost as if it's copying the file to my mac then back to the server.
I can log into teamviewer and do it that was but that's a bit of a pain. Is there any way around this?
Also, another unrelated question. Is there anyway to quickly minimise all active windows and go to desktop? I know about the "show desktop" gesture but that doesn't really do what I want.
Thanks in advance.
Edit - Oh yes and extra add-on question (and it's a stupid one, I'm sure). How do I view the contents of the root of my system disk (what would be the "C:" drive in Windows)? In finder all there is is "My favourites" and some other short cuts.
