Does anybody know how to make a copy of a non-commercial DVD without buying extra software?

I've got a dvd made by a videographer of our wedding, and I'd like to make copies for our relatives, but I can't figure out how to do it.

I'm on a 12" powerbook G4 w/superdrive running 10.3.5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

put the dvd in your dvd slot...

wait for it to play... press option+Q

make a file called MY_WEDDING_DVD

open the dvd so you can see the files and drag and drop them to that file

eject your wedding dvd... insert your new blank dvd-r

open finder go to desktop the open MY_WEDDING__DVD then drag and drop the files from there to the blank dvd

bingo.... burn the bit*h

Since you did purchase it from a professional videographer you should make sure that it's not copy protected (I could see him doing this so you have to buy additional copies from him). If it is copy protected you can use DVDBackup to remove the copy protection. This is a free program.

thanks. sounds like i was thinking too much. ;)

now i've just got to free up some space on my hard drive so i can burn the disk...
