Copying Pictures

Iphoto seems to have an option to copy but i have not figured out how to use it. I have some pictures of petroglyph panels. I want to make copies of the original so I can edit them in different ways, to enlarge different parts of the picture.

Select the photo, go to the photos menu > duplicate and it will make a copy.

Now why didn't the help menu tell me that? I know it was because I typed copy instead of duplicate but I think Apple could do a lot better with the help items.

No worries, the menu help sometimes is too technical for it's own good.

because the help menus tend to be rather crap.
