I just got my new macbook (it's lovely) and I want to put some files on (music, videos, photos).
What's the best way?

I would ideally want to use ethernet cos its the fastest thing I have available to me. I ran migration assistant, but gave up because it takes ages to get going (I assume it is taking note of all the files on my mac).

I don't want to do this though, I just want to drag a selection of files across, as if my macbook were just a drive plugged in.

So what's the best way?
