Whenever I copy text from Firefox into MS Word, it appears in size 13 lucida grande font. Is there any way to change this? Thanks.

Don't know about changing the source font and size, but in Word choose Paste Special and then insert as Unformatted text. Will adopt your current font/size in Word.

I just tried it by selecting text in Firefox, right-clicking "copy", opening Word and right-clicking "paste" and it came out in 12 pt Times New Roman...

How do I make this default, rather than default setting to the "Macintosh styled text"?

When you do "paste special", is it on "unformatted text" by default, or is it on "Macintosh Styled Text"? Thanks.

I also have this problem -- when I copy text from Firefox into MS Word, it comes across as Lucia Grande 13 point. But my default font in Word is Arial 12 point and in Firefox is Arial 14 point.

I tried a paste special and requested unformatted text as advised, but the text still copies as Lucia Grande 13 point.

Any other suggestions?

Well, I take it back. "Paste special and "unformatted text" does now produce text in my default font (Arial) instead of the Lucida Grande 13 pt that seems to be a default somewhere in Firefox.

So that works. But it takes an extra step each time you paste of course. So does anyone know where the Lucida Grande default font setting is in Firefox? I note that Web sites in Firefox's location bar show up in this font.

It doesn't seem to be in Preferences, where I have already changed my default font.
